North End

With 13-foot ceilings, original 1900s-era details, and a wraparound terrace, the bones of this home (which was once a school library) were both a surprise and delight to us. Located in the middle of the hustle and bustle of Boston’s North End neighborhood, the clients were clear that they did not want a suburban-style dwelling for their new home. Instead, they wanted to infuse the space with European sensibility, using antiques and modern pieces in equal scale, along with color and pattern to imbue a playful narrative for the home.
