Colonial

Often times, large estates can feel cold and impersonal without a detailed eye that can add sumptuous layers mixed with personal details. The goal of this project was for us to create rooms that offered drama, but that were not overwhelming. The public-facing first floor rooms required that the spaces be stimulating to the client’s guests, yet remain soothing when only family gathered in them. Bedrooms and bathrooms on the second floor were designed with the client’s distinctive personalities in mind. The unfinished basement was transformed into a multifunctional area offering spaces for eating, exercising, playing games and watching movies. {Additional images to follow.}
